Hinged boxes with CAA/Jewellery Year 2...

Last week we had a brilliant (and full on!) day in the workshop making these hinged containers with some of the CAA and Jewellery students...great to see familiar faces in the workshop and plenty of hard work produced great results...we did'nt quite manage to finish them as most of the students made 2 each, but watch the blog for a further image of the finished results!

 Annealing the metal to soften

Hammering the box into shape

Soldering the back onto the box

Saw piercing the door

Last minute adjustments to the hinge
