Rubber stamped enamel


Over the past 12 months in Small Metals alot of enamelling samples have emerged...still using the same powders and processes but worlds away from 'traditional' enamelling.
We are calling it 'image transfer with enamel' and the above image shows some of the results.
Using the simplest of processes such as stencilling and using water-based pens to 'glue' the enamel onto the metal. The most exciting samples (faces in centre of the image) have been produced with laser cut rubber stamps which means that absolutely any image/photo/design can be turned into a stamp and used to apply enamel to metal...this could become very popular over the coming year...
