Welcome to the Hereford College of Arts Workshop Blog. The workshops, run by specialist Technical Demonstrators, are a successful and integral part of the Art College. On the blog, you'll be able to see examples of work, images of the workshops in action and, from time to time, demonstrations of practical techniques.

Belief Exhibiton Piece
Kat, from ED2, produced this great piece of work in the Ceramics and 3D Workshops. The turtle was produced from chicken wire, overlaid with plaster bandage and then painted and flocked. The cityscape was constucted in thin sheet steel and spot welded together. The windows were cut out using the plasma cutter. Kat worked really hard to make this happen, see if you can get along to the exhibition and see it in the flesh, it's very impressive.
